Framing is getting a home of its own
Picture framing in Tenby is getting a home of its own. We’ve been sitting on this news for a little while, and now we can finally tell you.
From September, we’re opening a second Trade Canvas Print site, right here in Tenby.
Our Kilgetty print studio isn’t going anywhere. It stays exactly where it is, full of printers, paper, canvas and all the usual organised print chaos.

But framing?
Framing is getting a new home.
We’ve taken on a new warehouse at The Salterns in Tenby and we’re turning it into a dedicated workshop for picture framing, canvas frames and mounts.
And we’re going all in.
More space, more capacity, some seriously good new machinery, including state of the art framing and mount cutting equipment.
Need a one-off frame? We can sort that.
Need a bulk order of picture mounts? We’re here for that too.
And if you’re an artist, photographer or shop owner with a large framing order to get through, well…
Now we’re talking!

Every frame still gets finished by hand. That part is not changing.
Why we’re doing this
If you’ve ordered framing from us over the last couple of years, you’ll know the honest truth. We’ve been squeezing it in.
Framing has grown quietly alongside the printing, and it has been sharing space, benches and time with a print studio that was already busy. It worked, but it was always the thing holding us back from saying yes to the bigger jobs.
So rather than keep juggling it, we’ve given framing a building of its own.
Two sites, each doing one job properly, instead of one site doing two jobs at once.

Frames on the wall sell the work
A frame on the wall shows a customer exactly what they’re buying and what it will look like at home. Even a small framed selection sells the whole range harder, and for someone who wants something to take away today, the framed one usually goes first. Worth having a few ready before your busy period, and we’ll turn them around quickly for you.
Picture framing in Tenby, right on your doorstep
You don’t have to be a trade client to use us. The new workshop is at Unit 9, The Salterns in Tenby, with easy, free parking directly outside.
Bring it in and we’ll help you work it out
We can look at the piece together, talk through the different options and use our years of experience to help you choose something that suits it perfectly.
Standard or custom mounts
Photographs, prints, unusual sizes, custom apertures or multiple openings. We’ll be able to cut them to suit what you’ve got.
Proper framing. Fairly priced.
No posting your artwork away. No choosing from a tiny image online. And no settling for a mass produced frame because you assume having one made properly costs more. Real wood, made here in Tenby, at prices that will probably surprise you.
Just bring it in. We’ll help you frame it.
And when it’s finished, you can collect it from us or we’ll be delivering locally too.

We bought a van.
Apparently opening another workshop wasn’t enough.
We’re starting our own delivery service across Wales for our trade clients, which gives us far more control over how your finished framing gets from our workshop to you. Locally, it means we can look after more of your finished framing ourselves, particularly larger pieces and anything involving glass.
Made by us. Handled by us. Delivered by us.
And yes, Ben might be enjoying the new van slightly too much already. Cue the photo.

Yep. Slightly too pleased.
What happens next for picture framing in Tenby
We’ll show you around properly once we’re in. Expect workshop photos, new machinery arriving, benches being built and plenty more from behind the scenes at Salterns.
For now, if you’ve got framing work coming up this autumn, we’re here and ready to help. You can see the full range on our products page, and trade rates are on our prices page. Whether that’s a hundred mounts for a gallery show or one photograph you’ve been meaning to frame for two years, it’s the same workshop and the same people.

We’d love to hear what you’re planning
Trade runs, gallery orders, mounts, or picture framing in Tenby for a single piece. Tell us what you’re planning and we’ll come back to you with options.
This is a big step for Trade Canvas Print, and we genuinely can’t wait to get started.
