We’ve just added three show stopping Hahnemühle papers (and we’re feeling proud)

At Trade Canvas Print we’re always on the hunt for the next level in print quality, media choice and sustainability. Today we’re excited to announce we’ve added three new Hahnemühle papers to our palette:

• HAHNEMÜHLE Sustainable Photo Satin 220 gsm

• HAHNEMÜHLE Photo Silk Baryta X 310 gsm

• HAHNEMÜHLE German Etching 310 gsm

These aren’t just incremental upgrades. Each brings its own character, performance and green credentials to your images. Plus, we’re thrilled to mention that we’re among a select group of Hahnemühle Gold Certified studios. In fact, there are only two in Wales.

Meet the new papers

Sustainable Photo Satin 220 gsm

If you’re looking for a high-quality photo media with a lighter feel and a conscience, this is your new go-to. It’s made from 100 % α-cellulose with a bio-based inkjet coating that’s free from plastic films. That means it’s 100 % recyclable via the paper cycle.

The finish is satin, smooth and bright white, ideal for crisp photographic prints or posters. In short, it’s a paper that’s lighter, efficient, and eco-friendly without sacrificing quality.

Photo Silk Baryta X 310 gsm

This is for anyone after a premium, luxurious photo look reminiscent of traditional silver halide prints. The secret is in the baryta coating, which gives it a silky gloss finish.

The surface is smooth and non-textured, letting subtle tones and highlight transitions shine. Expect deeper blacks, creamy whites and a beautiful tonal range. At 310 gsm, it has that premium feel in the hand, perfect for clients or galleries who want their work to stand out.

German Etching 310 gsm

This is the heavyweight fine art choice, ideal when you want a tactile, handcrafted feel. It’s a genuine mould-made copperplate paper, adapted with a premium inkjet coating.

The textured surface gives prints a three-dimensional depth and artistic presence. Made from 100 % α-cellulose, acid-free and conforming to archival standards, it’s a favourite for fine art photographers and galleries.
