Reflecting on 2025
A Year of Growth, Grit, and Getting Things Done
As 2025 comes to a close, it feels like a good moment to pause, look back, and reflect on the year at Trade Canvas Print. It’s been a busy one. A rewarding one. At times a challenging one. But above all, a year that’s moved us forward in all the right ways.
Like most years in a growing business, 2025 hasn’t always been a straight line, but it’s been packed with progress, learning, and plenty of printing.
A Full Studio and Plenty of Momentum
From the first weeks of January, the studio has been busy. We’ve printed and framed thousands of canvases, photographic prints, and fine art pieces this year for photographers, artists, businesses, and families across the UK.
Fast turnaround, colour accuracy, and consistency remain at the heart of everything we do, and 2025 pushed us to keep raising the bar. Behind the scenes, we’ve continued refining our workflows, tightening processes, and making small improvements that quietly make a big difference. It’s this attention to detail that keeps things running smoothly, even on the busiest days.
New Products and Fresh Ideas
One of the real highlights of 2025 has been expanding our product offering, particularly for our local clients. This year we introduced new Hahnemühle fine art papers, alongside locally launched picture frames and canvas frames, all of which have been incredibly well received.
These products have been carefully tested and refined in the studio, and we’re excited to make them available online very soon. When our new website and store launch, clients across the UK will be able to order the same frames and papers that our local customers have been loving all year.
The Website Journey (and the Bit That Didn’t Go to Plan)
Not everything in 2025 went smoothly, and that’s worth saying.
Earlier this year, the design company we were working with on our new website went into liquidation. That meant lost time, lost money, and a lot of hard work suddenly disappearing. It was a tough period, and one that forced us to stop, regroup, and reset.
But sometimes a reset is exactly what’s needed. We took the time to find a new team who genuinely understood us as a business, how we work, and what our clients actually need. A team who were prepared to take the project on properly and see it through.
We’re now back on track and feeling genuinely excited about what’s coming. The new website is taking shape, the foundations are strong, and we’re looking ahead to an early 2026 launch with a platform that finally matches the quality, care, and speed we put into every order.
What 2025 Taught Us
If this year taught us anything, it’s that progress doesn’t always look neat, but it’s still progress. There were moments where things felt slow, frustrating, or harder than expected, but we kept moving forward, learning as we went.
We’re finishing the year more confident, more focused, and more optimistic than ever. There’s a real sense of momentum heading into 2026, and that feels good.
Thank You, and Looking Ahead
To everyone who ordered from us this year, recommended us, supported us locally, or trusted us with their work, thank you. It genuinely means a lot to us.
Our studio will be closed for a short festive break, but orders can still be placed online and will be processed when we return in January. We’ll be back refreshed, ready, and excited to get printing again.
From me, Ben, and everyone at Trade Canvas Print, thank you for being part of our journey.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.
